In no particular order or structure, here are a few (additional) questions to make a decision:
What are the activities that go on in the creative corridor that will make sure people actually move around and through to the survival village if it's in Fordham Park?
Will there be any marketing activity in the weeks(s) leading up to the festival to make sure EVERYONE knows that Fordham park will be THE PLACE to be?
How big space do we actually need? (we'll have to sort of map out the space for this)
Would the containers fit in Douglas Square?
Where are we more likely to be allowed to have a fire going? (because yes, I'm still really keen on that!)
A paved square means it's more accessible (rather than pushing wheelchairs across mud) - however this could be rectified in Fordham Park by temporary access.
Where can we create the best sense of place and "village"?
Where are we likely to have the largest footfall of people (not only of visitors purposefully going to the village, but also passers-by)
Also, who is currently responsible for designing signposting and wayfinding and general publishing/marketing material to make sure people KNOW the festival is on (and locations to be!) Flyer maps, large maps, programs etc.?
